Ocean freight between Sino-US increased by 500%

According to the announcement of global shipping giant MSK, the lack of containers is still very serious. Especially shipments from China to North America, 40 feet containers are extremely scarce. Under this special circumstance, not a few Chinese trading companies have postponed orders from North America, some even reject orders.

Compared with the ocean freight of last year, freight cost has increased from less than 4000 USD to more than 11000 USD. International sea freight has raised 500% from the same period a year earlier.

Relerant people say epidemic has shocked global trading heavily, plus worn equiments, low efficiency, and typhoons and hurricanes. Multiple reasons have made the situations worse.
